I’m looking into investing in entertainment kiosks/vending machines. There’s all kinds out there, and I’m hearing some very enticing numbers, I’ve thought of some big problems… any dopers who have done this kind of thing and can offer tips or caveats?

Think about it. One gumball cannot cost 25 cents to produce, so therefore there is very little overhead. The only actual costs you would incur would be the machines themselves, the travel time to collect the cash, and restocking the product. I would definitely anticipate a considerable amount of driving.
BTW, I hear these are very hot sellers as of late.
