Opinions that others would find blasphemy?

I think this is readily accepted as true. The real question is which side is the slave.

Not blasphemous. The most mainstream belief, I think.

Blasphemous.

I stand by my statement that if Hillary Clinton is elected president, I will emigrate.

“I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are still truly good at heart…”

“postscript. I’ve been in Bergen-Belsen for a few days now. If somebody finds my diary, please change that last line to ‘are as evil as snake vomit.’”

The same thing can be said about breast cancer survivors, GLBT teenagers, or the mothers of autistic children.

Velveeta is the Cadillac of processed cheese, though. There are worse things out there.

I prefer getting the anchovies on the side, so that their flavor is not baked into the pizza. Just drape them onto the finished pie, bite by bite. Then if you want a few bites with no anchovie, just don’t add them.

Pineapple works if you’re a student, delivering pizzas, and you’re stretching your food budget by making the most of your shift slices. After a month or two, even pizza starts to pall. That’s also the time when you’d be willing to eat the nacho pizza. Although nothing would make me add jalapeno.

I thought GW Bush was okay, but my expectations were low.

I think that Obama is a pretty good president and that Obamacare just needs time to be a pretty good program.

I think that we need to control spending in the US, but I also think that it is about time we recognize that we don’t need such a huge military and our citizenry do need help.

I think most vegans haven’t spend enough time around cows, pigs and chickens to have a clue.

Pets as slaves? What would you have us do? Cut them loose to form street gangs?

I do believe in God. How God is manifested I am not entirely sure about.

It isn’t religion that is the problem. It is the people who twist any religion to their own purposes that are the problem. I know of no major religion that actually pushes the worst of their crap.

Religious institutions should stay out of politics.

I disagree with that one, but Dr. Strangelove, or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the Bomb wasn’t a good movie, and certainly wasn’t funny.

I’ve never been able to sit through more than a half-hour of it.

I don’t think it sucks, but I do think we selectively remember the bits that were great whilst forgetting the rest. If you watch an entire episode of Python, you’ll find that there was a lot of filler between the unforgettable and oft-quoted sketches.

People are far too enamored of their own opinions, which for the most part are ignorant and contribute nothing of value to humanity.

I have had an anchovy in my mouth; the notion that it is made of food is one of those outliers I mentioned, above.

You misspelled David Niven, star of the only Bond film that merits a second glance (actually, most of them don’t merit a first one, considering the huge plot hole they so blithely ignore).

A few more:

Pink Floyd sucks.

Abraham Lincoln was a jerk.

George Washington was a jerk.

Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in should not be required in schools.

I first saw it when I was in my early 20s, and the Cold War was still going on. I didn’t get it, and didn’t enjoy it all that much. I then saw it again a few years ago, and understood where the “classic” status came from. Just wish they’d left the cream pie fight in the final cut; that was supposed to be the last scene in the movie.

The summer I was 16, I thought “The Wall” was the greatest piece of music ever recorded, and now I cannot stand to hear anything from it. :dubious:

And I agree about the Pledge. Saying that it is not required is not the same as banning it; some people don’t get it.

I think that Iran should have their own nukes, unless the US gives up theirs (ours).

Football eats.

Chris Rock and Ron White are not funny, and for the last 10 years of his live, George Carlin was the anti-Funny.

ALL religious institutions, or only the ones that disagree with you?

Should Martin Luther King have shut his mouth about civil rights? Should Bible-thumpers like William Wilberforce and Henry Ward Beecher have kept their opinions on slavery to themselves?

I don’t care all that much for Star Wars.
I don’t really like superhero movies.

Of course! Every state gets to manufacture their own nuclear weapons! Let’s hope Texas and California don’t get in an arms race.
