Lots and lots of people have an opinion. That plus a dollar gets you a cup of coffee. Most of us prefer to wait for facts.
(An opinion plus half a billion dollars gets you a surface mission, though. :))

I want to know why the Martian Defense Force hasn’t destroyed Opportunity yet. They did a good job of stopping the last few probes, but this one managed to slip through. You’d think they’d send someone out to blast that little buggy, in the hopes that NASA would get discouraged and move on to Saturn or wherever.
They are obviously attempting to lure us into a false sense of security.
The probes just keep on coming, and odds are that one will eventually get through.
