I used my camera to record the computer screen while playing it, then advanced the resulting movie frame by frame. Yeah it’s legit.
I just put my thumb over one color and the illusion disappears. Smooth motion!

Interestingly, with the red line, I don’t find it works right away. I actually can’t see the red line at first until it loops back.
I removed the background, put it back, all while the red line was there, and turned it off, and I could no longer see the illusion. I just was able to filter out the background. And I still can do it.
It went from so strong to easy to ignore, and now I’m having trouble getting it work more than just a couple judders.
I wonder how long it will be before I can see it again. My eyes are tired and perfect focus is hard.
