I’m not a DBA. This is a legal copy of Oracle. I did an install taking all the defaults, and the database started fine (I could use sqlplus to log in and do queries and stuff). Then I rebooted.
Now, when attempting to start my Oracle database (srvctl start database -d [dbname]), I get:
Failure in getting Cluster Database Configuration
Except that there is no cluster. How do I turn this off? Am I using the wrong command to start the darned thing?
