Orange Medical Containers

Seeing as whatever condition or conditions I have are still untreatable, (;)) I don’t know what they’re called-- the little orange tubes that prescription drugs are often given in. What’re they called, and why orange?

Are you referring to the vials, usually with childproof caps, that the pills are in? It’s my understanding that the semi-transparent brownish-orange color allows one to see how much is left while still protecting the contents from excessive exposure to light (particularly the shorter, more energetic wavelengths), which can degrade some chemicals.

Yes, those are the ones I’m referring to. That’s very logical-- rather like dark brown beer bottles.

Thank you for the prompt response.
