Organic honey VS normal honey

No one said you were making it up. What was said was that when it comes to honey, the label “organic” is meaningless bullshit. To answer your question in post #1, it is all hype.

What sort of benefits do you think would be in either? Neither has any substantial nutritional benefit other than being a source of carbohydrates.

You know what? I want some buckwheat honey. Don’t know if you’ve ever had it but it puts the common clover and fruit blossom honey to shame. I don’t care if it’s organic or not. This probably comes from Canada where it’s possible these bees are in fields of buckwheat the size of New England and if they don’t use any pesticides there it could actually be ‘organic’. But I don’t care, I want the buckwheat honey. I’ll probably have to order it online.

^ I was looking for something other that standard Golden Blossom so I was reading about various honeys online. i read that buckwheat honey tasted like cat pee, so when I took a whiff in my local grocery store, I could definitely detect it. Not sure if I would have picked up on that if I didn’t read that first. I ended up buying wildflower honey. Much more tasty than Golden Blossom. It was a run of the mill grocery store. I would check around before ordering online.
