Original Star Trek-The Alternate Cast

I believe that calling “Star Trek” “Wagon Train to the Stars” was a way of describing the format of the show - like “Wagon Train” Star Trek would feature a cast of regulars, dealing with the problems encountered by a variety of guest stars, as opposed to a show like Dragnet that had ensemble players (one actor might play a victim one week, a witness the next, and the criminal the week after that).

What does that yellow light on the instrument panel mean?

It means, “slow down”.

[looking a bit startled, then genuinely explaining]

“To, um, to tell you the . . . the truth, I’m . . . I’m a doctor, not . . . you know, not a . . . a bricklayer.”

[/Bob Newhart, every time someone asks]

It means, drive like hell because the light is about to turn red.

Bob Newhart talking on a communicator would be the greatest thing ever.

“What’s that? You can’t find…you can’t find the antimatter? Have you tried Wal-Mart?”

“He says he’s wounded?”
“No, if the cuts are on his face, he can keep his shirt on. Oh, it’s already off? Torn off? I see.”
“Have you checked for a good version of him running around?”
“A goatee, now!? Since when?”

What… does… the… yellow… light… on… the… instrument… panel… mean?
