I don’t normally join message boards but had to after seeing the article one of your members posted about the origins of Rx.
It seems that there was a disagreement between two members about the origins of Rx and it was made clear that Rx was originally the Egyptian Eye of Horus.
This is certainly true however what you said about Jupiter caught me by suprise. I’ve studied ancient religion and know clearly that religion has evolved over time. Often times during a new occupation (roman in this instance) with new rulers and a merging of cultures, the gods would be merged together inorder to ease the integration of two differing societies.
It seems that parables are as ancient as religious beliefs themselves especially with esoteric religions where initiates go through a ritual. A story can easily have two or more meanings each with a deeper more hidden truth.
This is true when it comes to Jupiter and Osiris, and the Eye of Horus. According to egyptian tradition and pyramidic herioglyph, “O Osiris the King, the gods have knit together your face for you and Horus has given you his Eye, that you may see with it.”. The story further says, “THE EYE OF HORUS will come to you at the ten-day festival while you yearn after it”. And even further, “O Osiris the King, may your vision be cleared by means of the light … and be brightened by the dawn {for} I am Horus who came forth from the Eye of Horus … I am Horus of the Gods … and I have lighted on the vertex of Re in the prow of his bark which is in the Abyss.” According to Egyptian tradition and belief, the earth was formed within Osiris and ejected out of his Eye, the Eye of Horus.
The Planet Jupiter is a brown dwarf whose face appears to have been knitted together because of the opossing wind forces, it has an eye and every 10 days the earth and jupiters synchronizes where the eye can be seen from our planet. Brown dwarfs are responsible for ejecting planetary bodies. Here you have a hidden parable within the ancient and possibly sacred tradition. That will make you think a little more deeper next time you think of the, Eye of Horus and the origins of the earth itself. What other possible truths lie in our ancient traditions. Drop me a line, I’d love to hear from any of you. Thanks
