Osama Bin Laden and Sesame Street???? (Evil Bert)

This is very peculiar. I heard a rumor that at anti-American demonstrations in the Middle East, protestors are carrying signs juxtaposing Osama Bin Laden and Bert from Sesame Street.

Okay now, so the producers of Sesame Street are really pissed about this–apparently the image came from the Evil Bert website, but what message do anti-American protestors intend to send with the placards that intimate Bert’s endorsement of Bin Laden’s insane jihad. Is this to get the kiddies interested?

I would have thought that Oscar the Grouch or Elmo would have announced their unequivocal allegiance to the dark side before Bert.

It appears to be legit - Bert really is in their poster. I think this is absolutely freakin’ hilarious.

Or maybe the person who designed the poster just pulled Bin Laden pictures off the internet and doesn’t even know who Bert is.
