Since some of my muslim friends seem to have been rather… umm… anti-american foreign policy(?) lately, even on the issue of this fatwah, so I thought I would ask somebody who actually sounds as if they know what they are talking about, like a proper and sane Islamic scholar. After a few hits on some search engines, I bumped into this pakistani academic guy. And this was his response on that fatwah.
