I had Dujardin, and changed to Clooney at the last minute based on scuttlebutt. Should have left well enough alone, but it wouldn’t have changed my placement. Plus I thought the show started at 8 p.m.
Apparently, I changed to Clooney, too. I did not remember doing so and was surprised to see it on my ballot that way.
Was stunned that Meryl Streep got the award. Ebert has just linked to an article entitled “How Viola Davis stole Meryl Streep’s Oscar” that went over how campaigning(I think) took the Oscar from Streep to Davis. And then, it didn’t even happen!
