Weird - I missed this thread first time around and it’s still showing up on the main page. Now that it’s been a week since anyone has posted, how is everyone doing??
Stoid, I sympathize. Haven’t busted my assbone (yet) but have managed to break both elbows and most recently a footbone just walking around and being a klutz. Stairs make frequent attempts to kill me.
Kaylasdad99, how is your wife doing??
I broke my tailbone almost 6 years ago and it still hurts. I asked my doctor how long it would take to heal and she told me it might never and I’d have pain my whole life. There are cushions made especially for tailbone issues so you might want to consider investing in one. They really help. Amazon has them for around thirty bucks or so. Well worth it.

Still in a lot of pain, but a little better, thanks. I had to take a couple of days of FMLA leave (paid) last week because she couldn’t manage to get out of the bed in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I was able to get to work on Saturday night and Sunday night, though, and now I’m on my two nights off.
And the other day I found a spare sling, so I was able to get her into the shower and wash her hair (if that’s confusing, I don’t dare take the sling off, so her main one was gonna get wet). Two more weeks before we can start PT.
