I’m so sorry. It’s the price we pay for unconditional love- it doesn’t last nearly long enough. You gave Boomer a good life- and he knew it. They always do.
(((Auntie Pam))) This is the only bad part of owning a dog. The saying good-bye is murder. Boomer was well-loved, and loved well in return.
I bet there was a small pack of Gordon Seeters- Holly, Abbie, Corey & Fancy-there to greet him and show him around.
nothing, absolutely nothing loves you like a dog does.
i’m so sorry.
Aww, he sounds like he was a wonderful dog. How wonderful that you met up! Hugs.

Oh, I am so sorry! It is so awful to miss a pet. I hope that soon you are able to enjoy his legacy of love and good memories.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
The love and companionship from a dog is inimitable; so is the pain they leave behind when their time here is up. Rudyard Kipling wrote a number of poems, including The Power of the Dog about this, if it may bring you any comfort.
You gave Boomer a long, happy, safe, and most importantly loved life. That is all that any dog has ever asked for. And he slipped away quickly and quietly, at home, where he was safe and comfortable.
Sorry for your loss-Boomer sounds like he was a great friend.
That is the downside of dogs-you suffer so much when they leave.
Aw, AuntiePam. Boomer sounds like he was a great dog – you were lucky to have him and, man was he ever lucky to have you.
I’m so sorry!
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is really hard to lose a friend that never wants for anything more than to be near you and be loved. I am almost 2 months past this happening to our Golden Retriever, Max and a month since our Beagle, Arthur left us. Each day it gets a tiny bit easier. I hope that the painful days pass quickly for you & for your family.
Ahhhhh, I’m sorry for your loss.
Thank you. I didn’t know cyber-hugs and good thoughts could help so much. You guys are the best.
May you someday meet in peace at the Rainbow Bridge. HUGS
Poor Boomer. The pains of unconditional love
You gave him a good life, though.
hugs
I’m so so very very sorry.
I’m sorry to hear of Boomer’s passing. Keep the good memories with you always.
Sorry to hear about Boomer. It sound like he had a great life up until the very end and was lucky to have a caring family.
Best wishes.
Thank you.
BwanaBob, we got a sympathy note in today’s mail from the vet, and that’s just what he said – keep the good memories. We have a lot of those.
God, I hated that sympathy card. I was just getting to the point of not crying every day when it arrived in the mail (both times I’ve had a dog put down at the vet.) Nice thought, but…
My dog and your dog are in doggy heaven now!
