As a prelude to a fundraising half-marathon for our children’s hospital, they arranged for an attempt to break the world record for most people dressed as superheroes in one place at one time. WE DID IT! OK, I was a spectator dressed in plainclothes but friends and community DID IT!
And hats off to the one guy who ran the whole half-marathon in this:
Don’t tease. Are there more photos somewhere? I want to see if I can identify them all.
I know–there is a disappointing dearth of photos. They tended to be Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman, but then there was also a large contingent of Captain Underpantses.
Did he wear the mask while running?
Yes–I don’t know how he did it, but he kept it all on the whole time. He pulled the mask off at the Finish and his hair was sopping wet.
If they broke the record, why only a photo of 7, (count 'em), superheroes?
Huh?
I get more superheroes than that at my door on Halloween!
And that wasn’t even from Saturday. They took an aerial photo of the heroes but I can’t find it yet.
They could fly? Sweet!
