Why? Because you are no longer working out much or because you no longer get sore?
Because I rarely get sore anymore.
I’ve been training with a new partner, and some of the exercises we’ve been doing are sufficiently different that they make me a bit sore, but generally, even after a really brutal workout, I won’t be sore the next day (or day after).
I find that what makes me the most sore is high reps to failure, but we are mostly working lower reps/high weights.
During ill-advised soccer team try-outs in high school, Tiger Balm was my salvation. It reeked, but nothing else helped the way it did for the muscle soreness in my legs. (And it’s topical, so it won’t upset your stomach.)
