Outlook (or other calendar) and time zones

Is there a way, in Outlook, to set a timezone for an appointment? I’d really like to have different timezones for start and end times. Airline schedules have depart and arrive times each in the local time of the airport, and I want to mimic that behavior.

Or is there some other calendar application that supports such a feature?

In Outlook 2007 you can set one timezone for the start time and a separate timezone for the end time, either or both different from the local timezone.

That’s what I want to do, and I’m running Outlook 2007. How is it done? I couldn’t find it in Help.

When you create an appointment click the timezones button on the ribbon bar.

A big button with “Time Zones” on it–why would I notice that?
:o

:smack: for me too. I’ve only been running Office 2007 for about a year, and this is the first time I realized it.

One more dual time zone trick. You can set up to display 2 timezones on the left hand display. If you right click directly above the times there on the left, the pop up menu has a chang time zone option. Much easier than the tools - options - calendar options - time zone - swap that I did forever before finding this trick.
