Owner of gun company, producer of pro-gun Youtube videos shot dead

That’s why he has a gun. Someone finally told him he isn’t really a nut and he just snapped. Or would that be cracked?

"Is THIS nutty enough for you?! Huh? Is it? Is it?!" <BLAM BLAM BLAM>

Good thing no one told him he was funny.

Well, what are they then? Anti-kazoos?

It was, but it looks as if that was changed with HB 1016 in 2011. I didn’t notice, since it doesn’t affect me.

.

Oh, neat. I live in WA and I’d been thinking it might be fun to get a suppressor for my AR-15, or maybe a .22 pistol with a suppressor or something like that, but I’d always been a bit leery of the way the law was written. I know they’ve been selling them at gun stores forever, but my understanding was that it was with a bit of a wink and a nudge – “Of course, Mr. Potato, you’re not going to actually use it!” I just preferred to stay on the unambiguously correct side of the law, but now all I have to do is justify plonking down a big wodge of cash for the can and the tax stamp. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes. Here’s a few pix of one last spring here in the Atlanta area. 3 gun competition; pistol, rifle - many ARs - and bolt-action benchrest shooting.
No unsuppressed fire was allowed.

This is a “bring your guns and shoot some shit” silencer shoot. As you can hear, the term silencer is a misnomer. The sounds you think are gunshots are actually the sonic crack (tiny sonic boom) of the bullets themselves exceeding the speed of sound. The report of the gun is gone, so if you were standing downrange, you wouldn’t be able to tell where the shot came from. You would hear the “crack”, but it’s source would be a mystery.

Using subsonic ammunition ~ 1,000 feet per second - makes things mucho quiet.
A .308 is a LOUD round. Way loud. Use a suppressor and subsonic rounds and bingo, all you hear is a click from the hammer.

Fear not, covert tuber. Your governor has not forsaken you. You may now purchase, wait, then use your suppressor in your home state.

I recommend finding an AAC dealer, and doing some research herefor your next fun purchase!

I bet it was one of his facebook friends, annoyed with him yammering about his “rights.”

It’s like the plane that crashed into a cemetery and they kept finding more and more bodies.

I find it just a tad depressing that a news item consisting of seven short paragraphs has to be accompanied by three “highlight” bullets. Because, ya know, some people can’t be bothered to read the whole thing?

So you’re advocating some kind of bullet control?
