Palin says Obama would kill her baby

But she wants us to hear something more like (i) – or, rather, to ignore the distinction.

And, of course, even when she says (ii), she lies.

I invite you to go back to post number one and read the quote I cut and pasted from Sarah Palin’s own Facebook page.

First of all, do you dispute that refers to something called a “death panel”? Because if you deny that, then I don’t know what to tell you. I mean the words are right there in the quote, so I will assume that you will concede that one.

Second of all, I point you to the words “level of productivity in society,” which again, are words, in that order. A=A. I say she said it because she said it. I didn’t even paraphrase.

Third of all, she says that this so-called death panel will decide based on this so-called level of productivity “whether or they are worthy of health care.” I find it extremely unlikely that any literate, honest reading of that sentence would lead to any other conclusion than that Ms. Palin is suggesting that some people will be granted health care, others will be denied it. There is no indication here that she is talking about a specific procedure, but that some citizens will be deemed not worthy of health care.

Of course you may stamp your foot and protest that she didn’t say that all. I can’t stop you. But given that two of my statements are derived from word-for-word quotes and the third is a coherent and inevitable reading of an exact quote, you have a pretty tough job making a case.

Well, we know what your strategy is. Deny the facts, lie through your fucking teeth, and pretend it’s a tie when you’re a mile back with your face in the mud.

Panderers!

Yes, I would consider it very clear that she wants readers to hear (i). Obama will kill disabled babies and old people. Obama wants disabled babies and old people to die. Obama hates the disabled and the elderly. Obama is evil and unAmerican. Obama isn’t American.

That is, to a farm upstate.

According to Glenn Beck, only the white ones though.

Phew!

This is kind of fun to watch. As Palin keeps saying crazier and crazier things, you can see people drop away from her. It’s like peeling an onion. Now that we’re down to talk of “death camps” and Obama killing babies and whatnot, the only people left defending her are the completely crazy-fied center of the onion. I honestly can’t imagine what she could possibly do to make these last few die-hards give up on her. Put on a Superman cape and run nude through the streets of Anchorage? Claim that in a previous life she was Genghis Khan’s concubine? Support a tax increase of some sort? The mind truly boggles.

Decision made by doctors. she died about 1 month ago. her husband told me. Of course who the hell carries paperwork around to prove why his wife was denied. She died in Taylor ,Michigan. She had Medcare and a small rider from Blue Cross.

Really? (Zero snark advisory)

Is it a nice farm, with lots of other morons they can play with? That sounds like fun! Can I go there, too?

So, like an ogre, she has layers.

Really, although some degree of retardation is characteristic of sufferers (as well as the distinctive physical characteristics).

Curiously, Down’s sufferers have drastically reduced rates of cancer and atherosclerosis, but this may just be because they generally don’t live much past 50.

Who else do they have? Limbaugh, Kristol, Gingrich and the other conservatives defend her all the time. They have no choice. she has a following and no other repub does. It would show growth if the repubs rejected her for stupidity. They will not. The repubs now have 2 bases. The Palin ultra conservative neanderthals and the business wing that will take the Palinites for a ride . That is not a marriage made in political heaven.

You seem to believe that if someone is in the state of “not having health care” then that person is dead. That’s a weird belief.

For some people with Down’s syndrome, life goes on.

You seem to believe that a state of “not having health care” would be the result of a “death panel.” That is cute.

More importantly, why would the phrase “death panel” (not to mention “Obama’s death panel”) need to be invoked at all in [del]describing[/del] making up shit about health care claims under UHC, unless . . .

The use of the term “death panel” would indicate that Palin thought that death would be the result of “not having health care” for some people–but she didn’t say that death would be the result of her baby not having health care.

To reiterate: I don’t agree with what Palin said. I’m not saying she’s not making shit up. I’m just saying she didn’t say “Obama would kill [my] baby” as Cricetus said in the title of this thread.

What in the quoted material that preceded this conclusion of yours about what I “seem to believe” led you to it?

What’s that? You’re just a trolling douchebag? Very well. Douche on, good friend. Douche on.
