This thread is really for Aries, a story about how the Oakland Public library got books when it’s funding for new book purchases was eliminated.

Hmmm, I don’t really see the MM connection (other than one of his books was donated), but good to know. We donated quite a few to the OPL last year when we moved from Rockridge to Lake Merritt. Looks like it’s time to give again… (even though we don’t have anything from their “wish list”).
