- I was out driving today and saw a motorcycle with sidecar stopped at an intersection, and only one guy on it, sitting in the sidecar. As I passed it I could see from the rear, the sidecar was a special one that allowed a wheelchair to roll into from the back, and there were a few odd levers running from the motorcycle controls, to controls in the sidecar.
!
I knew there were hand controls available for cars, but had never seen or heard of them for motorcycles. And yes, it did look kinda funny to see the motorcycle roll off, with just one person in the sidecar.
-I bet that guy gets stared at a lot. - MC

Yeah, I’ve seen a setup like that. (this wouldn’t happen to
have been anywhere near New Hope, PA would it?)
I also know a double amputee who rides a trike - which makes more sense to me. It probably handles better because its symetrical. Sidecars don’t handle that well to begin with. And it just looks better.
Good Luck to them both, though! I wonder if I would still have so much ambition if I were crippled or if I would just spend 24 hours a day on the net. (like I don’t spend too much time here already
