That’s a fair mistake; it says Disney on the side. I mean, really, who knew that Disney made exactly one foray into horror movies? And how was that PG?
I know!
Insanity!
I saw The Shining when I was fairly young. My dad was volatile, abusive, and has always had a strong resemblance to Jack Nicholson, making it a moderately traumatic experience. Although now it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. Go figure!
Mostly faded.
I ***HATE ***that fucking movie. What idiot crackheads at Disney decided that waste of celluloid was a good idea, anyway? I wonder just how many kids worldwide have been emotionally scarred by that crap - including me.
That, and Old Yeller. When I rule the world, I will personally see to it that every existing copy of each is fully, totally, and completely incinerated. With extreme prejudice.
Judging by the number of people who have mentioned it in this thread, I’m thinking it’s a pretty safe bet it’s a high percentage.
Oh, and add in Eight Below to that list. Another movie I plan to eradicate from the face of the earth.
If you’re a child who’s actually emotionally scarred from a movie, chances are you weren’t going to make it to adulthood unscathed anyway…
Well, yeah. After all, I already have these delusions of grandeur - y’know, taking over the world and everything… and I always do exactly what the voices tell me to do. ![]()
