I saw The Shining when I was fairly young. My dad was volatile, abusive, and has always had a strong resemblance to Jack Nicholson, making it a moderately traumatic experience. Although now it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. Go figure!

Judging by the number of people who have mentioned it in this thread, I’m thinking it’s a pretty safe bet it’s a high percentage. :eek:
Oh, and add in Eight Below to that list. Another movie I plan to eradicate from the face of the earth.
If you’re a child who’s actually emotionally scarred from a movie, chances are you weren’t going to make it to adulthood unscathed anyway…
