Parents worry elections will compromise childrens' safety

Our schools are closed on Polling Day, but we were doing that before 9/11 (says the girl who lives in the city that WAS and IS targeted, thank you very much). We pretty much take over the entire lobby of the place; in primaries we only use half of it (the 1922 school was never finished and has no gym, so the kids don’t get to have gym that day.) But we also take over the cafeteria half of the lobby, and the kids gotta eat, so home they stay.
