I’m not his biggest fan. I think he didn’t pull his own weight in that breakaway in last year’s TdF when he won in the 15th stage. Still, I respect him as a tallented and experienced rider.
But to have your bar stem stap on you when you’re doing so well and stand such a good chance of winning this classic. Damned bad luck George.
