IIRC, there’s a saying I heard about parsley:
“Parsley seed has to go to hell and back in order to sprout”. Meaning, it’s difficult to get started.
Anyway,i’ll chomp on a few springs if it comes with my meal. I couldn’t consume large quantities of it, but a small bit is nice.
Oh and not all hospitals have nasty food. Community hospital in Monterey has a professional chef who prepares all of the meals for patients. My mom says that she liked the food when she was there last time.
Their cafeteria area has some good sandwiches, I must say.
It’s worth the risk of burning, to have a second chance…
I prefer cilantro (“Chinese parsley”) to parlsey.
But if parsley improves food, I’ll have to get some the next time I open an MRE.
