I agree; the Republicans fight dirty, the Democrats don’t. Which is a problem because if only one side fights dirty they have an advantage. The Democrats keep trying to play chess while the Republicans are playing “street thug with a baseball bat”.
One thing he mentions that really hit home with me was Hillary’s deplorables comment vs Trump’s “anyone who votes for Democrats is crazy” comment.
Hillary was speaking of half of Trump’s base. Trump was speaking of all Democrats. She gets attacked relentlessly over the deplorable comment and Trump gets no pushback at all about the “crazy” comment.
It can’t be this lopsided forever.

Yep. After they pulled a fast one to stop Obama from nominating a Supreme Court Justice, I said the new rule was, “Naked exercises of power are the new norm.” The GOP changed the rules, but the Democrats kept trying to play as if that hadn’t happened.
You may not like the new rule, and you might even be planning to change it back as soon as you have the ability to do that, but in the short term, playing the game by the current rules is just a pragmatic necessity.
If they ever get back into power, the Democrats need to start understanding this.
