Not a pun, exactly, but an apocryphal tale of a poorly-worded sign. I worked a couple of summers at an outdoor drama – the kind with a cast of thousands, and many of them were costumed in loin cloths. At one time, there supposedly had been a sign in the men’s dressing room that read, “Jock straps will be provided only for men with large parts.”
