Partial solution to Firefox pop-ups

Ah. I see, then.

At the risk of derailing this fine thread, let me just say: “Whaaa…??”

Put your left hand, palm down on your desk. Look at it. Is your thumb on the right side of the hand and your pinkie on the left side?

Right is right, and left is left, no?

Don’t true left-handed mouse setups involve using the rightmost button the way a right-handed setup uses the leftmost button?

Dang… do we need to set up a poll to see how many lefties really, truly both to switch the friggin’ buttons? In my sample (size=1), 100% of left handed users do not switch their buttons. 100% of respondants indicated that all they do is move the mouse from the right side of the keyboard to the left side of the keyboard.

Actually, I know one who DOES switch the buttons as well as moving the mouse. I think she’s the only one I’ve heard of, though switching the buttons is really easy. I can see where getting used to the change might be more of a pain than it’s worth for a lot of people, though.

To get back on track, I’ve gotten a few pop-ups, but pretty much only on Snopes. I don’t go to a lot of sites I don’t already know, and I can deal with a few, even though they irritate me. I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever deliberately clicked on one of those things, and I never will.
