Actually I didn’t, since I’ve never voted for a single Republican candidate in the 14 years I’ve been old enough to vote.
See where assumptions get you?

Thanks Phil, and this time I mean it!
Wasn’t really trying to fish for compliments. (Pssst rj, Phil’s not a Republican…[preview]…whoops, too late.)
What I’d be interested in seeing would be a similar study, but between those who think party identification is important, versus those who don’t.
You have no idea. When I said conservatives have no sense of humor, one of them asked me to cite evidence that proved it.
First thing that came to mind when I read this is the “Dumb people - are they happier” thread.

Back in 1950’s, the only people with a sense of humor were liberals IIRC. Today we have Christopher Buckley and PJ O’Rourke.
Thanks to **xenophon41 ** for providing the other site (and to Kimstu for inclusion in a wonderful group!)
On the OP - I agree with the researcher who states " , I said my pilot study was far too small (snip) to support any certain conclusions" . Period.
IN addition, as far as I’m concerned dreams are open to many possible interpretations (much like, IMHO, art), so I’m not convinced that any reasonable conclusions can be made here (except of course that knee jerking seems to afflict persons of both political parties)
An un-charitable person would suggest that – actually – the balance of contemporary democratic political “thought” only makes sense in a dream world.

Don’t forget that Rush Limbaugh. What a kidder he is! Also, Victoria Jackson of SNL fame is pretty conservative. Any others you can think of?
