Parts Washer recommendation?

Hi Everyone,

My brother and I are finally moving forward on the Triumph project and are looking for a parts washer. I know there are more than a couple mechanics on the board so I thought I’d ask for some recommendations.

Right now this is what we are looking at.

With this solution.

The parts washer got a pretty decent review and the solution got an OK one.

We were originally looking for a solvent based washer but they all seemed way more expensive. Am I missing something reasonably priced or is it a case of you get what you pay for and what I’m showing above really isn’t worth it?

Thanks,
Rob

p.s. Northern Tool has a local store so I don’t need to pay shipping there.

It looks identical to the one I have from Harbour Freight. They sell it for around $70 when it goes on sale.

I run solvent in it. I actually use it about once every two years, and maybe for about 15 seconds every few months or so. So will you when the project is done/abandoned. But what the hell. I got the space for it, so its nice to have around. I put wheels on mine so I can roll it around if I want.

Have fun.
