Party III

I’ve disappeared for long stretches?

I have half the amount of posts as you, but I’m still third and trying.

Speaking of which, Priceguy, ahve you ever heard of anterograde amnesia?

Yes, I have. Must be hard to sort out the fakers from the genuines, if there are any. Is your interest in it personal or professional?

Oh, and Priceguy, that was rude of me, asking you another question without answering yours.

My name is Bob, and I’m a professional party host, I have not met these other two hosts before and hopefully will never again after this.

:stuck_out_tongue:
PS: All right twickster, in order to try and make things interesting I will try to make a guess on OCS by morning!

Short for Robert?

What an interesting profession. What other parties have you hosted recently?

I run a successful chain of bookstores, and I moonlight as an Alpine tour guide and ski instructor, or occasionally as a bodyguard and personal advisor  to a Hollywood starlet whose name I am not at liberty to reveal.

If I get this correct, please give credit to** dotchan ** for pointing this out. I just read through my hard copy print out and he seems to be right.

OneCentStamp cannot use the conjugation of the verb to be.**

If I’m wrong, at least it could be considered hitting a fly out deep into the outfield to advance the runner into scoring position. (that one was for **twickster ** too  )

Now, back to the party. I’m getting old and it’s hard for me to remember names. Priceguy could you do me a favor and start writing out name tags for everyone?

Why don’t we do it together, Bob? We could chat.

Well, scratch that one off the list.

Be been are is was am ain’t it’s I’m she’s we’re weren’t he’s you’re.

God, that feels better. Yes, you got it. :stuck_out_tongue:

All right :: scribble scribble scribble:: that’s a good idea, there we are, names tags for everyone.

You know it’s funny, but your post above kind of freaked me out. I read it in the tone of HAL from the movie 2001 Space Odyssey.

Anyways, name tags are done, what would you like to chat about now, and where did you get that fantastic penmanship?

Oops, simul-post. Give** dotchan **credit for finding it. Although I knew the answer was probably going to be found in your mistakes. I was studying them closely and may have happened upon it by accident.

If you didn’t slip up though, to be honest, I would have never picked up on it.
This is my first game thread with a “forbidden” thread attached. Are all you guys making fun of us?

We most certainly are.

You like that film? Are you into science fiction? Active in the fandom, perhaps?

Oh you flatterer. My penmanship’s crap. Yours is quite nice, though. Any artistic ambitions?

Actually I haven’t seen it. I’ve seen some of Kubrick’s other things though. I just know the reference. And thought it was funny.

Only in sculpting. You?

No, not really my field. Have you done much sculpting? Exhibited or sold anything?

I actually did exhibit once, but only as a student, I haven’t done much in the way of anything professional. Have you ever gotten to show something creative off to friends or family like that?

Not since I was seven and had my drawings up on the fridge, no.

How long have you been a professional party host? How did you get into that line of work?

After I got back from the war I had seen many terrible things, and decided to dedicate my life towards making people happier. Why do you ask?

(Host note: I haven’t been having any luck guessing about **Priceguy **by trying to bait him into answering questions, so I’m hoping for better luck with indulging his frequent questioning.)

Just curious, you know, making smalltalk. Which war were you in? You look a bit young for Vietnam. Kuwait?

Excellent work, fellow hosts! OCS was ridiculously hard – I’m truly impressed that you both figured that out.

Might Malacandra be a character from a Bond film?
