Hi!
I have a Geforce 2 MX 400 and I am runnig win2000 and detonator3. when ever i install a new 3d game, i lose the 3d capability. to restore it, i have to do a fresh installation of the os. in only one case, i found a patch for baldur’s gate 2 which fixed that problem, but after i installed another game, i lost 3d function and agp function. (in directx they r both disabled and i can’t enable them). plz help as installing the os every few days is very painful.

I’ve heard that Win 2000 doesn’t do too well with games, perhaps this is what they were talking about.

Maybe, next time you have to re-install the OS, install Windows 98. Unless of course you need Win 2000 for some other task you use the PC for.
