The only time one should not wear a braclet is if one is wearing gloves, especially the long ones. Short ones are acceptable if they are removed before the social event.
Don’t get me started on rings worn on top of gloves!
Pearl braclets are indeed lovely, but as mentioned, use with caution. It is easy to scratch them.
