It was like I said; it came down to which goalie burned out first. The Pens goalie just looked dazed when the puck went past him, and at that point I didn’t blame him.

Anyone else watch the 4OT game back in 96 when Nedved scored the winning goal? I was a spry 23-year-old back then and was able to stay awake for that one.

Peter Taglianetti, one of the Pen’s broadcasters, was rooting for it to break the record–116 OT, which is to say 16 minutes into the SIXTH overtime. Now THAT would have been something.
That game ruled! I watched the whole thing even though I had Physics class at 8am that morning!
I don’t think Tugnutt was dazed and confused on that last goal, I just thing that no one expected a shot that hard! That thing was a bullet!
