How tough is it? What kind of marks do they look at? What averages?

While I personally did not apply to grad school, I have many friends who did including my GF. It really depends on what kind of Grad school you are going to. For some you have to write those brutal standardized tests, for others you don’t.
Anything less then a B average and forget about it though. And with a B you would need to have some pretty good recommendations from profs.
The level of toughness again depends on the programs. Its not easy, but neither is it particularly difficult.
