People in goofy costumes arguing

A recent Something Positive cartoon had me laughing my innards out, mainly because it’s people in goofy costumes arguing.

I dunno why, but people in goofy costumes arguing has always made me laugh like crazy. I tried to think of similar instances, and the only thing I could think of is Steve Agee and Brian Pohsein wearing TaB costumes while snarking at each other on the Sarah Silverman Program. (Couldn’t find a link)

I don’t mean goofy costumes as part of a sketch or comedy routine. I’m talking about times when the participants are wearing costumes for some another purpose, like attending a party, going Trick-or-Treating, or about to… perform in a comedy sketch, when some issue comes up that pushes one or more buttons and they launch into an intense discussion, forgetting that they look like cartoon characters or something equally as stupid,

So satisfy my morbid amusement needs, Dopers. Link or anecdote famous arguments in goofy costume scenes.

Oh, I thought you caught Britain’s prime minister pre-election debate.

The Halloween episode of Buffy, “Fear, Itself,” has a brief scene of a giftwrapped present arguing with a lobster. IIRC.

It’s been years since I saw it. I do remember it was very funny.

Mike and Archie in All in the Familygot into an argument when Archie showed up in full costume after appearing in a Minstrel Show (or “menstrual show,” as Archie called it).
