People who feed strays

I don’t care if the Humane Society euthanizes them, as long as they do it, well, humanely. If there were a “fall asleep and never wake up” poison, I wouldn’t flinch about flooding the island with it. A painful death is not something I would like to inflict on them, though. Especially if that would make them even more dangerous animals.

About shooting them… read this sitting down. About a year ago, I woke up to the sound of gunfire. About 40-50 rounds in about 5 minutes. I asked around, and I got the same answer from everyone: “They were taking care of the pigeon problem on the plaza”. Yikes. How is that for “taking care”?. And exactly how stupid are those pigeons that they will stick around for that long under fire?

Yeah, they should stop feeding the dogs all together. And then the hungry stray dogs will do what all hungry stray dogs do: Form packs and start preying on the nearest source of protein. You can go from worried about barking dogs scaring your kids to worried about your kids being torn apart and eaten. At least they won’t be barking; dog packs are usually silent when they hunt.

When they start shooting bees out of their mouths Mr. Smart guy, then what?
