I don’t care if the Humane Society euthanizes them, as long as they do it, well, humanely. If there were a “fall asleep and never wake up” poison, I wouldn’t flinch about flooding the island with it. A painful death is not something I would like to inflict on them, though. Especially if that would make them even more dangerous animals.
About shooting them… read this sitting down. About a year ago, I woke up to the sound of gunfire. About 40-50 rounds in about 5 minutes. I asked around, and I got the same answer from everyone: “They were taking care of the pigeon problem on the plaza”. Yikes. How is that for “taking care”?. And exactly how stupid are those pigeons that they will stick around for that long under fire?
