I would like to ask if any dopers have the syndrome known as MCS and how they deal with it, I have a relative that is said to have it and doesn’t seem to be able to work or live anywhere because of what this person says makes living impossible. The medical association doesn’t recognize it and My doctor thinks it is a mental thing. We are at a loss to help this person because we all have chemicals or perfumes etc. in our homes.

It’s not a good idea to give an acronym without spelling out what it means at least once in your OP. There are several things that are abbreviated to MCS. I presume that you mean Multiple Chemical Sensitiviy.
