Has anyone here tried using peppermint oil to get rid of mice in the house?
Would it have any adverse effects on a short nosed dog?
When I had mice, we got some peppermint oil product to drive them away. I didn’t have high hopes for it but at that point we were just short of total war (I drew the line at burning the place down). I was not surprised to find that the oil did nothing. Plastic snap traps and sealing every possible point of entry to the apartment were ultimately successful.
What the hell is “oik”? And does it really come in peppermint?
I dont know about driving away mice, but it gives pigs fresh breath. 
I heard this once when we had mice in our garage and in our cars. I tried it out and nothing. We made sure there were no food crumbs in the cars and they had no reason to visit after that.
Sure does. But they don’t keep it on the shelves so don’t bother looking. Just go to your local hardware store and tell one of the helpful employees you want some peppermint oik.
