Man, listening to this stuff brought back memories! This kind of “music” played incessantly in the department stores of my youth!
Most of that style of music is from 1958 or later, making it more “perky 1960s music”.

I know; I’ve scoured the Internet for this, to no avail.
Although the term Space Age Pop probably covers quite a bit more than the “Perky 1950’s Music” of the OP, the site is a goldmine for artists and albums from the era that defy other categorizing. I will admit to being fond of a large number of these things, almost as much as the jazz of the period. In fact, I probably have at least 20 albums from the ones listed there.
Of course, the first name to pop to mind on reading the OP was Leroy Anderson whose amazing music is more than just “perky.” It definitely has the 50’s sound.
