What options exist for person to person credit / debit transactions over the internet? Not small business, more informal paypal type where you are only sending like $.50 to $5?

I know about PayPal, but I have heard bad things have been happening to their privacy and user policies since eBay purchased them. Any other means? Have Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AmEx gone digital yet? Would they have a way to link directly to a personal website?

Any and all help is, as always, appreciated.

I’ve been using www.paycom.net for years on my adult websites, though they are definitely geared for business.

If by informal you mean exchanges between friends, another option might be https://www.netspend.com/public/ which is basically a prepaid mastercard. Transfers to other netspend accounts are free.
