The Washington state Supreme Court ruled yesterday that is is legal to take pictures and videos under the skirts of females. News report here. I will be willing to bet this will be one of the first things addressed when the state legislature reconvenes in January.
Excuse me, isn’t there something about the right of privacy? I hope it was just a momentary lapse of judgement. I can’t believe it’s legal to do something as crude as that.
medstar,
If there is a right to privacy, it would curtail the actions of the government against individuals, not the actions of an individual against other individuals. If there is no law prohibiting the conduct, then under what basis can these men possibly be punished?
The failure here was in the state legislature, and, as the OP posits, will likely be quickly corrected at the next legislative session.
