I loved Press Your Luck as a child. Probably my favorite game show, along with “Scrabble” with Chuck Woolery.

Aww, man. That sucks. I loved that show. I remember one time they screwed up a question about Daffy Duck and Sylvester, and Mel Blanc called in as Sylvester to correct them.

I was really saddened to hear this.
My brother and I used to watch the re-runs on USA network as kids in summer vacation. I was always surprised he never was offered a “big money” game show back when Regis, Chuck, and Maury all had one.
He seemed like a cool guy.
I remember watching reruns of it on USA when I came home from school. It was always fun to see the different animated whammies.
Useless fact: the Whammies were designed and animated by “Savage” Steve Holland of “Eek! The Cat” fame.
