I just bought on a whim a novel I never heard of before today: Petersburg.
It was only $2.99 for the kindle version and it’s the John Elsworth translation which according to Goodreads reviews is a good one.
What have I gotten myself into? I’ve seen comparisons to Ulysses which is a book on my agenda for next year.
