I’m an over-anxious parent. I will NOT be going with my kid. He’ll have an adult forensics coach or two with the group of about 6 kids from his school.
Months ago, when my kid first qualified to go to the national high school debate/forensics tournament in Philly this year, I quickly posted a question here regarding cool things high school kids could do in Philly (but I think I was asking back in March or April). I got a lot of great answers. But thought I’d ask again, now that the time is closer.
So, now that we are actually in June…What can a high school kid, or group of kids, do in downtown Philly in the evening?
Places to go? Places to eat that are definitely “Philly”. I think the group my kid is in will be in the downtown Marriot (wherever that is). Not too far from Constitution center, I guess. I would like to tell my kid… hey, got some extra time, try this place.
