Lets say you take a multiple exposure picture of the sun at noon everyday from a fixed position camera (disregarding daylight savings time). The picture would be of the sun tracing a figure 8 in the sky.
Does this figure 8 have a technical name?
(I wouldn’t even know how to word a search).
