Does anyone know the context of this photo?
Looks like a guy in a control tower saw a cute girl in a dress walking up to the helicopter and saw a photo opportunity to me(of which I wholeheartedly approve). What other context do you need?
One time a girl who worked at an airport diner snapped a photo just as I landed, but for the most part I haven’t seen people who work at airports taking photos like that unless there’s a reason to.
The location seems a little unusual. There appears to be water at the top of the frame. Is it an oil rig? Is it a seaside hotel? There’s a little telephoto distortion, but it doesn’t appear that the picture-taker was very far away – which he wouldn’t be on a heli deck – and the elevation is not as high as it would be for a control tower.
I’m wondering if it’s just a random photo that someone shot (as you suggest), or if it’s a candid celebrity photo. Perhaps she’s an actress, and she’s leaving a location. Or maybe she’s a celeb leaving a luxury resort.
