I vote for Father Goose. It was quite a fun movie when I was a kid, and Cary Grant was a dreamboat.
Sold. Amazon has the DVD for $7.99.
Woman in the Dunes. Weird.
My favorite from 1964 is Fail-Safe. A thought provoking and chilling movie which is unfortunately overshadowed by its silly but excellent counterpart Dr. Strangelove.
I saw the The Train last night. Very good but did anyone else find Lancaster’s 100% American accent distracting. I know all of the French and Germans in the movie spoke English but they all had an aprropriate accent except for Burt. I was also reminded of a later Burt Lancaster movie The Swimmer where he also spent the final part of the movie limping around.
