Pickup Sports Games?

I was, actually I still am, screwing around on the internet at work today and decided to see if I can find a soccer game to take part of on weekends. I found a few coed soccer leagues on Craigslist but I don’t really know how I feel about them. All the ads I looked at have pictures of women playing, which makes me think it’s gimmicky or somehow off.

Have any of you found some casual sports games to play and how did you go about finding them?

I’ve found basketball games on Meetup when I’m in an area for a short time. There always seems at least to be a lead on a game, if not a thriving group of regulars. Basketball is probably the easiest to find that way, since so many gyms have courts, although it seems to be getting harder.
