So the grocery store had pink light bulbs on sale, so of course I bouthg them. All I can say is I think this is my new favorite lightbulb. (Even better than the nautral light ones that are tinted blue, and compact fluorescent bulbs). Why has it taken me this long to discover them?
'Cause they’re PINK! They are supposed to give a more flattering light, so I’ve used them in the bedroom for years. I just wish I could find a pink 3-way bulb for my reading lamp!
Wedding shops have known this for years. Remind me to pick up a few. I could use to look a little better to myself.
I remember seeing pink lightbulbs in the grocery store when I was a kid, and begging and pleading my mom to buy them. Probably went on for the better part of a year. She never gave in.
Are they noticeably dimmer than other bulbs?
Not really just a “warmer” light. Kind of like a 60 watt candle instead of a lightbulb.
Does it give off a noticably pink light or does it just make everything look warmer?
If pink light is more flattering, do you end up looking crappy when you leave the house and enter the world of Harsh Fluorescent?
No, I look the same.
Everybody looks awful under fluorescent light!
I don’t really notice much difference, other than I look a lot paler with fluorescent bulbs.
